Despite all the doomsday rhetoric from liberals about the Jan. 6, 2021, riot threatening America’s continued existence, social media giants, one by one, are giving back former President Donald Trump his platform.

Under new owner Elon Musk, Twitter was the first to lift Trump’s ban in November. Last week, the former president announced, “I’m back” on Facebook.

Also, last week, YouTube welcomed Trump’s return.

YouTube as of Friday, was “allowing him to return to the platform, upload new content and buy ads for his 2024 presidential campaign.”

Leslie Miller, YouTube’s vice president for public policy, said, “Starting today, The Donald J. Trump channel is no longer restricted, and the ability to upload new content is restored.”

YouTube opted to reinstate Trump despite supposed concerns about the “continued risk of real-world violence” that Trump could cause, the website reported.

In the company’s statement, Miller added, “We carefully evaluated the continued risk of real-world violence, balancing that with the importance of preserving the opportunity for voters to hear equally from major national candidates in the run-up to an election.”

“This channel will continue to be subject to our policies, just like any other channel on YouTube.”

As for Twitter, Trump has yet to signal a return, telling the public after he was reinstated there that he would stick with Truth Social, the platform he created after he was banned on others.

Yet an unnamed source allegedly close to Trump told NBC News that he would likely return to Twitter as well.
