TAMPA, FL. – Several hundred Bulls fans and sponsors gathered at the JW Marriott in downtown Tampa to celebrate the football program’s 25th season.
The kickoff even started in 2019 but had to be canceled last year because of Covid. So it was a welcome sight for USF Bulls Head Coach Jeff Scott.
Scott and USF Vice President of Athletics Micheal Kelly were thrilled to see such a huge turnout.
The Bulls are in the midst of upgrading their facilities and both Scott and Kelly say they need community support in order to grow the program.
USF football opens at NC State on Sept 2 (7:30 p.m.).
The Bulls home opener is against nationally-ranked Florida on Sat. Sept. 11 (noon).
