U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) reported Sunday that US forces successfully destroyed an Iranian-backed Houthi drone within the past 24 hours.

The drone was located in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen and was deemed an imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, as well as commercial vessels in the region.
