Two Dead, One In Critical Condition After Domestic Violence Shooting

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. – Two people were killed and another person critically injured after an early morning dispute turned deadly.

At approximately 5:00 AM, officers responded to 3320 122nd Ave for reports of a shooting. 

The address is a commercial business, HIT Promotions, and the shooting occurred in the parking lot.

Investigators say that upon arriving on the scene, officers located three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

Two of the individuals on scene were pronounced deceased and a male victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Through the investigation, detectives learned the shooting resulted from a domestic quarrel between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend.  The male shooter fatally shot the female victim after shooting a male. 

The male shooter remained on the scene, shooting and killing himself at the same location as the female.  The male victim is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.

The shooting was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the employees working at the business.  At this time, the names of the subjects involved are being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin.
