President Joe Biden said back in 2016 that he’d like to take former President Donald Trump “behind the gym” to teach him a lesson about making sexist comments.
“The press always ask me, ‘Don’t I wish I were debating him?’ No, I wish we were in high school – I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish,” Biden told reporters in trying to defend then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton after one of Trump’s insults.
But Trump is confident there is one place Biden will never take him: on the debate stage.

During a Fox News town hall interview with host Laura Ingraham, Trump challenged Biden to a debate at any time and on any stage, on any network, and in front of any moderator on Tuesday.
“I’ll do it right now on your show. I’ll challenge him right now,” Trump told Ingraham.
Trump, who has notoriously refused to debate his Republican rivals in the GOP presidential primary, said that the situation is different because he is so far ahead in the polls.
With Biden, however, that’s not the case.
“I’ll take anybody,” as the debate moderator said Trump.

“I think you have an obligation in this case, you really have an obligation to debate,” Trump argued. “As many as necessary. I could do it starting now.”
“Frankly, I think we have an obligation. When you have the final Republican, the final Democrat, you have the two people, you have to debate regardless of polls,” Trump said.
But despite the open invitation, Trump seemed sure Biden would not accept it.
“I don’t think he’s going to debate. I really don’t think so,” he added.
