TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – The Treasure Island City Commission voted to appoint Bob Minning to the vacant District 3 Commission seat at the Jan. 16 City Commission Meeting.
Bob Minning served as Treasure Island District 3 Commissioner from 2007 to 2009 and as Mayor of Treasure Island from 2009 to 2018.
The Commission chose from three candidates who expressed interest in the vacant seat by submitting a letter of interest along with qualifying paperwork.
Commissioner Minning was sworn in at the Jan. 16 Commission meeting and will serve as District 3 Commissioner for the remaining term, effective through March 31, 2025.
