TAMPA, Fla. – A woman in her early 70s was tragically killed this morning in an accident related to post-Hurricane Milton cleanup efforts.

Tampa Police responded to a call just after 11:00 a.m. in the 2800 block of N. Nebraska Avenue, where a large tree branch had fallen. Upon arrival, officers found the woman deceased beneath the branch.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident occurred during post-hurricane restoration work on the property. While the investigation is ongoing, the woman’s death appears to be accidental.
