Traffic Alert: Tampa Water Distribution System Lane Closures

TAMPA, FL. – Beginning at 9 am today, the outside westbound lane on East Fletcher Ave between North 15th Street and North 12th Street will be closed while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system.

Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.

The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Friday, March 18. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.

Also at 9 am today, the outside westbound lane on East Hillsborough Ave between North 59th Street and Harney Road will be closed while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.

Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work. The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5 pm today.

And the outside northbound turn lane on N Lois Ave between W Hillsborough Ave and W Crest Ave will be closed while the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.

Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work. The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5 pm, Thursday, March 17.
