PLANT CITY, Fla- The Florida Strawberry Festival announced today that The Jacksons have canceled their performance at the 2023 event due to a medical emergency.
“Due to a medical emergency, The Jacksons are unable to perform at this year’s Florida Strawberry Festival,” said Florida Strawberry Festival President-Elect Kyle Robinson. “The Jacksons were deeply disappointed to miss this event and expressed their appreciation for their loyal fanbase.”
Grammy award-winning trio The Pointer Sisters will replace The Jacksons and perform at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8. There are 24 entertainers scheduled to perform on the Wish Farms Soundstage during the 11-day event.

“While we were looking forward to seeing The Jacksons, we are honored to welcome The Pointer Sisters to Plant City, and the Florida Strawberry Festival, for the very first time,” said Robinson.
Tickets already purchased for The Jacksons will be honored at The Pointer Sisters show. Refunds can be provided through March 7, by contacting the Solution Source Stadium Box Office at 813.754.1996.
