TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 a.m. today, motorists traveling eastbound on West Hillsborough Avenue between Belle Chase Circle and George Road should expect delays due to lane closures.

The Tampa Water Department will be conducting maintenance on the water distribution system, necessitating the closure of the outside eastbound lane.

Barricades and signs will be in place to guide traffic flow and help drivers navigate the area. Commuters are encouraged to consider alternate routes during this time, as traffic may be heavier than usual. Drivers are also reminded to exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.
