TAMPA – The University Mall, near USF, will be the location of the Fowler Ave. protests that are scheduled for this coming Saturday at 5 PM.
The flyer being circulated calls for a peaceful protest in the area.
On May 30th, the peaceful protest that took place, in daylight hours, near University Mall and USF, became more violent and destructive that night. Champs Sports, Panda Express, and other stores were broken into and looted. Some businesses completely destroyed by fire.
The group organizing the protest Saturday the 13th, request a peaceful turnout.
