TAMPA, Fla. – Due to persistent heavy rainfall, roadways leading to and from Davis Islands are currently experiencing flooding, according to the Tampa Police Department. While access to Tampa General Hospital remains open, motorists are strongly advised to avoid any non-essential travel in the area.

The Tampa Police Department is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as the water levels recede.
