TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 2000 block of Chapin St. at approximately 5:50 am.
Engine 6 was first on the scene to a one-story residential home with smoke and flames through the roof.
A primary and secondary search was completed with no occupants inside the structure. There were no injuries to civilians and minor injuries to one firefighter.
TFR fire investigators were on the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
