Suspect Apprehended After Stabbing, Carjacking, And Chase In Pasco And Hillsborough Counties

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A suspect is in custody after a series of incidents in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties this morning.

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a stabbing in Port Richey around 8:20 a.m., where an adult male victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Shortly after, a carjacking believed to be connected to the stabbing occurred in the same area.

The suspect fled the scene in the stolen vehicle, leading to a pursuit into Hillsborough County. The chase ended when the suspect crashed on Suncoast Parkway near Ehrlich Road in Tampa.

The suspect was apprehended and is confirmed to be involved in both the stabbing and carjacking. The carjacking victim and others involved in the pursuit were not injured.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
