TAMPA, Fla. – All motorists traveling on southbound I-75 will have to detour off the interstate using SR 574/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (Exit 260) on Thursday, April 18, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Crews will be performing overhead bridge work as part of the I-75 ramp configuration and interchange modifications from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) to I-4 in Hillsborough County.

During this temporary closure, all southbound motorists will exit I-75 using Exit 260, travel through the intersection, and re-enter the interstate using the southbound I-75 entrance ramp.

Electronic message boards and advance warning signs will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
