MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Two men from Homestead are facing legal trouble after being caught with undersized fish on Tuesday.

Middle Keys Marine Deputy Luis Guiardinu stopped Yuliesky De Leon Martinez, 40, and Yusiel Urdanivia Almedia, 35, on the Channel Five Bridge around noon. During the routine check, Deputy Guiardinu discovered the pair in possession of four yellowtail snapper and one lane snapper, all smaller than the legal size limit.

As a result of the violation, both De Leon Martinez and Urdanivia Almedia received mandatory court appearances.
