POLK COUNTY, FL. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has canceled the SILVER ALERT for missing and endangered 76-year-old Jack Pitt, who lives at 7205 Thomas Jefferson Circle West in Alturas.

Mr. Pitt has returned home safe.

Earlier, he left his home around 6:00 a.m. this morning, Saturday, August 28, 2021, before family members were awake. When they discovered he was gone, they reported him missing. He has Alzheimer’s and diabetes.

Mr. Pitt is 5’6″ tall, 180 lbs., with blue eyes and grey hair. He might be wearing a Hawaiian print shirt, tan pants, and moccasin-style shoes.

He should be driving a white 2016 Honda Accord with FL tag NFE2M.
