SARASOTA, Fla. - A Sarasota man has been convicted on two counts of video voyeurism, according to Sarasota Police Department.

SARASOTA, Fla. – A Sarasota man has been convicted on two counts of video voyeurism, according to Sarasota Police Department.

Investigators say Kirk Groome, 58, Sarasota, was arrested by Sarasota Police in December 2022 following a report of video voyeurism.

Detectives learned through evidence uncovered in their investigation that there had been at least one other incident of video voyeurism.

Video evidence shows Groome utilizing his cell phone to record underneath the dress of the victim.

On September 7, 2023, Groome entered a plea of no contest and was convicted on two counts of video voyeurism.
