RIVERVIEW, Fla. - A 37-year-old Riverview woman was killed in a crash that happened around 10:28 pm on Saturday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A 37-year-old Riverview woman was killed in a crash that happened around 10:28 pm on Saturday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the woman was traveling southbound on I-75 near Milepost 243 when she lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason. 

The vehicle entered the west shoulder and collided with a utility pole before coming to a stop.

The woman was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
