HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue extinguished a blaze at a clubhouse located at 10611 Summer Azure Drive in Riverview Thursday night.

Dispatchers received multiple calls around 9:40 pm reporting flames and smoke billowing from the structure.

Firefighters arrived to find half of the clubhouse engulfed in flames with fire breaching the roof.

Thankfully, crews were able to contain the fire within 15 minutes using a defensive attack strategy. A thorough search of the building was conducted, but no occupants were found. There were also no reports of injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
