Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s re-election campaign today announced the latest television and digital advertisement supporting Governor DeSantis being aired by the Republican Party of Florida.

Entitled “Results,” the 60-second ad will run statewide and features Floridians from across the state, who are grateful for the results of Governor DeSantis’s achievements with the economy, public safety, veterans, education, the environment, and more.

The ad shares how Governor DeSantis has “stayed strong for Florida” throughout his first term and depicts Floridians from all walks of life as they talk about how the Governor delivered results:

“You saved our jobs…And kept us going.”

  • Governor DeSantis kept Florida open for business during the pandemic, saving thousands of jobs and allowing Floridians to provide for their families.

“They tried to shut us down, but you saved our business.”

  • While other states pushed lockdowns and mandates, Governor DeSantis pushed back – ensuring every business owner had the freedom to make their own decisions. Florida leads the nation in new business formations, and Florida’s labor force has grown at a faster rate than the national average.

“You had our backs.”

  • As other states defunded law enforcement agencies, Governor DeSantis increased pay for our hard-working first responders and law enforcement officers. He also enacted signing bonuses for new officers and those who relocate to Florida.

“…And honored our service.”

  • As a Navy veteran himself, Governor DeSantis understands the importance of honoring our veterans, active duty military, and their families. Since taking office, he has allocated more than $32 million to improve veteran facilities and nursing homes, signed legislation for a veteran suicide prevention program, and provided scholarships for disabled veterans to attend higher education institutions.

“You led by facts, not fear.”

  • Governor Ron DeSantis led the nation in letting data and the facts drive his COVID response rather than blindly following lockdown politics and promulgating fear-mongering. Floridians from every walk of life are now in a better place.

“… And you let us decide.”

  • The Governor made it clear that no Floridian should lose their job over vaccine requirements, signing strong pro-freedom, anti-mandate actions.

“You let me go to school… You gave me a voice.”

  • Thanks to the Governor’s leadership, Florida is the most pro-parent, pro-student state in the nation. He prioritized students by keeping schools open and rejecting mandates, and he protected parental rights in education by banning sexualized lesson plans in K-3rd grade classrooms and increasing curriculum transparency.

“You put us first…And didn’t let them keep us apart.”

  • The Governor prioritized seniors during the pandemic and ensured their rights and well-being were preserved. Governor DeSantis made sure that seniors were the first to receive monoclonal antibody treatments.
  • He also signed the No Patient Left Alone Act, which guarantees Florida families the right to visit their loved ones in hospitals, hospices, and long-term care facilities.

“You let us learn.”

  • Governor DeSantis expanded eligibility for the Bright Futures Scholarship Program to ensure our best and brightest Floridians can pursue higher education, and for four straight years, he banned tuition hikes for Florida colleges and universities.

“You let us compete…All of us.”

  • Governor DeSantis signed the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act in 2021, preserving opportunities for female athletes by ensuring biological women are competing against biological women.
  • As Special Olympics International tried to impose a vaccine mandate on their athletes, Governor DeSantis ensured COVID vaccines would not be mandated in the state of Florida, and made sure all Special Olympians are free to compete.

“You protected our right to worship together in person.”

  • Governor DeSantis signed legislation protecting churches from lockdowns, ensuring that all religious institutions would be free to meet in person.

“…And you raised our pay.”

  • The Governor provided a historic total of $24.3 billion for K-12 public education this year.
  • Governor DeSantis allocated $800 million in this year’s budget to teacher pay raises, raising the teacher average base salary to $48,000 per year. Last year, Florida teachers also received $1,000 bonuses for their hard work.

“You protected our waters…And kept Florida beautiful.”

  • Governor DeSantis pledged to secure $2.5 billion over four years for Everglades restoration and protection of water resources, and he surpassed this goal by $800 million, for a total of $3.3 billion over four years.
  • Florida’s natural resources will be protected for generations to come because of Governor DeSantis’s focus on providing historic funding to protect our environment. Since 2019, nearly 50 Everglades restoration projects have broken ground, hit a major milestone, or finished construction.
