Liberals have for months on end shamelessly accused Donald Trump and his supporters of promoting the “Big Lie” about last year’s election – even as they relentlessly engage in multiple lies.
For instance, various Democratic politicians and their allies at MSNBC have labeled Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist despite the utter lack of evidence to support that claim.
White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said this week that Trump never condemned white supremacists, even as he did so many times, including in the immediate aftermath of the tragic unrest in Charlottesville in 2017.
President Joe Biden tells so many lies it’s hard to keep up. But as one example, just before the Virginia gubernatorial election he claimed no governor has won in that state when he was from the same party as the president – even though the Democrat in that race, Terry McAuliffe, was first elected governor in 2013, when Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden served as president and vice president, respectively.
Now, Julie Jenkins Fancelli, an heiress of the Publix Super Markets fortune, is getting the treatment from liberals.
Left-wing news outlets like Pro Publica and Axios are stretching facts with the elasticity of bungee cords to hang the Jan. 6 violence at the Capitol on Fancelli.
According to a recent article by Pro Publica, Fancelli gave generously to the organizers of the former president’s rally that day, including Kimberly Guilfoyle, who raised money for Trump and is Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend.
The article suggests that Fancelli, who donated at least $565,000 to the cause, gave because of overtures made by Guilfoyle.
While there is nothing illegal or unethical about that, Axios, in its most solemn, finger-wagging tone, plainly exposed the new wrinkle in the narrative: “It’s getting harder to see how Jan. 6 would have happened without Fancelli’s money.”
Really?
The main argument against such a claim is that ever since he was a candidate, Trump routinely drew crowds of tens of thousands of people no matter who paid for his appearances – and in this case, that would include whether it was Fancelli or someone else, including the former president himself. Once Trump agreed to show, that audience would have been there regardless.
And Axios apparently forgot that news outlets of its philosophical ilk told us repeatedly during the 2016 campaign that violence was a routine feature of Trump rallies.
The liberal sites, as is customary, also neglect to report that Trump told his followers to “peacefully and patriotically” march over to the Capitol to continue their protest. He made no call to violence, nor did any other rally speaker that day.
Conversely, plausible reports indicate FBI informants were at least partly responsible for whipping the crowd into a frenzy with the idea of entering the Capitol as the vote to certify the presidential election was ongoing.
These thinly veiled hit jobs on Fancelli are the equivalent of blaming NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell if a fight breaks out in the stands at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.
The liberal sites, by insinuation, also want to somehow blame Fancelli for the five deaths that occurred near the riot – although most died from natural causes, and the only person who was killed was shot to death by a trigger-happy cop with a reputation of mishandling his gun.
On the other hand, it’s definitely arguable that lefty billionaire George Soros is responsible for far more death and mayhem than Fancelli will ever be by funding election efforts of soft-on-crime prosecutors who have essentially surrendered the streets of their cities to the thugs.
Most recently, this occurred in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where at least six people did not live to see Thanksgiving because of Soros’ efforts.
But we won’t hear much from Pro Publica, Axios, or other liberal “news” organizations because that doesn’t fit their anti-Trump narrative – which they toil to keep alive, not matter how much the truth suffers.

Publix and those associated with the chain help orphins and the homeless. They do it in a very quiet way and do not seek praise for their generosity. Humility and love for their fellowman are traits many of us would do well to duplicate.
May God continue to bless this Family and organization.
…and may he mercilessly smite people like Soros, and his ilk.
