LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed carjacking on April 2nd on Wildlife Trail in Lakeland.

The victim is a vehicle-for-hire driver who picked up the suspect at the intersection of Skyview Drive and Goodyear Avenue in Lakeland at around 11:15 am on Sunday.

Once the vehicle arrived on Wildlife Trail, the suspect pulled a gun on the driver, and stole his phone, keys, and car, a silver 2017 Toyota Rav 4 (FL TAG: CC75AH).

The suspect was described as a white male, around 20-30 years old, about 6 feet tall, heavy set, with red hair & red facial hair. He also has a bunny tattoo on his lower left leg.
