The trip follows the governor sending two planes of migrants to Sacramento, California, last weekend.
Florida state emergency management officials on Tuesday confirmed the suspicions of California Attorney General Rob Bonta after a second plane full of illegal immigrants landed in the Golden State’s capital.
According to KCRA in Sacramento, California, the Florida Division of Emergency Management acknowledged that it sent illegals to the longtime “sanctuary city” by releasing a 141-second montage of video clips and photos showing the migrants “signing waivers, dancing to music inside of a bus, and posing for smiling photos on an airplane.”
The division did so to refute claims by Bonta and California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom that the illegals were ‘‘kidnapped.”
Bonta and other California officials were angered when Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis delivered a total of 36 illegals in separate private-jet flights dispatched on Friday and Monday.
In the video released Tuesday, one unidentified migrant says, “We made it to California! Thank God! Very thankful to God!”

At another point, the migrants tell a government worker that they were treated “super well” by Florida authorities.
A third migrant expressed appreciation for arriving safely in California after eluding MS-13 gangs and the drug cartels.
KCRA reported that Bonta, despite the comments of the illegals, is still pursuing an investigation to learn what the migrants were told and whether criminal or civil actions could be brought against Florida officials or the employees of the private contractors who handled the flights.
Alecia Collins, a spokeswoman with Florida’s Division of Emergency Management, told the station, “Through verbal and written consent, these volunteers indicated they wanted to go to California. A contractor was present and ensured they made it safely to a 3rd-party NGO (non-governmental organization). The specific NGO, Catholic Charities, is used and funded by the federal government.”
“From left-leaning mayors in El Paso, Texas, and Denver, Colorado, the relocation of those illegally crossing the United States border is not new. But suddenly, when Florida sends illegal aliens to a sanctuary city, it’s false imprisonment and kidnapping,” Collins added.
