PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Pinellas Park Police Traffic Homicide Investigators are currently on scene investigating an officer-involved crash in the westernmost parking lot of the business located at 7561 49th Street that occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The unidentified adult male pedestrian was transported from the scene to a local hospital with serious injuries. The male police officer, operating his fully marked SUV, was uninjured.

The investigation is in its early stages and is expected to last for several hours. Investigators are also attempting to confirm the identity of the pedestrian.
