PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla – Pinellas County Emergency Management and Pinellas Park Fire Department will host a free hurricane preparedness expo on Saturday, June 17th, from 10 am-1 pm.

This free event is open to everyone.

The event will provide residents with information and resources to help them prepare their families, properties, and communities for hurricane season.

The event will provide residents with information and resources to help them prepare their families, properties, and communities for hurricane season.

Condominium and homeowners association board members and property managers are especially encouraged to attend.

Event highlights will include:

  • Evacuation zone lookups
  • Special Needs Evacuation Assistance Program registration
  • Free hurricane kits while supplies last 
  • 2023 Hurricane Guides and other preparedness resources 
  • Free lunch, provided by the Salvation Army, while supplies last
  • Barrier Island Emergency Access Permits (Clearwater/condominium event only)

“Preparing before a storm threatens our area is key, and it’s especially important for condo and homeowners association leaders to know how to prepare their communities,” said Pinellas County Emergency Management Director Cathie Perkins. “These events will be a fun way to learn how to protect yourself and your neighborhood.”

If you miss this event, the last hurricane expo will held in Clearwater on Saturday, June 24, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. North Greenwood Recreation Center, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Clearwater Hosted by Pinellas County Emergency Management and Clearwater Fire & Rescue.
