TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal crash at S. West Shore Blvd and W. El Prado Blvd.

Officers responded to the scene at 1:45 AM on Sunday, locating a deceased adult male.

Lifesaving measures were performed, and the victim ultimately died from their injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. S. West Shore Blvd / W. El Prado Blvd was closed because of this incident and is expected to remain closed for several hours. Drivers were asked to find an alternative route.
