CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue are on the scene of a traffic accident that occurred on US Highway 19 N in the area of Seville Blvd.
Police say a motorist involved in the accident is in critical condition.
US 19 N will be shut down for an extended time to conduct the investigation.

Traffic is being diverted onto the northbound access road at Seville Blvd.
The other motorist involved was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
