A 23-year-old Ohio man, Tygan Keiter, has been indicted on charges of tampering with evidence in connection to the death of his father, Edgar Keiter Sr. The man’s brother, Edgar Keiter Jr. has already been charged in this case.

This follows the gruesome discovery of the elder Keiter’s dismembered remains in trash bags and a storage unit on April 22 and May 1, respectively.

Authorities were alerted after a resident found a garbage bag with human legs protruding from it. The rest of Keiter Sr.’s body was found in a nearby storage unit, identified by the serial number on his knee replacement.

The investigation revealed a complex series of events. Tygan Keiter reportedly admitted to having conversations with his brother, Edgar Keiter Jr., about their father’s will before his death.

After Keiter Sr.’s death, Tygan Keiter claims his brother instructed him to send texts from their father’s phone. Upon going to his father’s apartment, he found the body with a knife in the chest.
