PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred early Monday morning, November 25th, 2024, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 43-year-old New Port Richey woman was struck and killed around 5:46 a.m. by a Freightliner propane tanker truck while crossing SR-54 in a designated crosswalk at the intersection of Grand Boulevard.

The 62-year-old truck driver was turning north on Grand Boulevard under a red traffic signal when the accident occurred.
Troopers say the woman suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
