TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – Treasure Island Fire Rescue, along with support from neighboring fire departments, successfully tackled a house fire early this morning at 265 126th Avenue.
The homeowner discovered the fire after waking up to a smoke-filled house and immediately called 911. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames in the attic and heavy smoke on the second floor.

One firefighter was treated at the scene for minor injuries caused by falling debris. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Fire crews from Madeira Beach, St. Pete Beach, Seminole, South Pasadena, and St. Petersburg assisted in extinguishing the blaze. Their swift response and cooperation helped prevent further damage to the property.
