CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred early this morning.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. in the 1200 block of Union Street. Police say the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and collided with a pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
