TAMPA, Fla. – A man died Saturday after police responded to a call for someone lying on the street.

According to police, on Saturday around 2:42 pm, Tampa Police Department received a call regarding a male lying in the street at Nebraska Avenue at Sitka, in Tampa.

“The male was located by the police and transported to St Joseph Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries,” police said.
