POLK COUNTY, Fla – A 31-year-old Lakeland woman has been charged with DUI Manslaughter after a crash that happened on Sunday morning around 4:00 am, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the Lakeland woman was traveling eastbound on I-4 in the outside lane approaching Galloway Road when she overtook and collided with the rear of a car.
The impact caused the car to rotate and overturn onto the south shoulder of the highway, where the driver, a 36-year-old Winter Haven woman, was ejected and suffered fatal injuries.

FHP Troopers later arrested Quarrpaesha Raquel Prather, 31, Lakeland, for DUI Manslaughter and delivered her to the Polk County Jail.
