He was known to sell methamphetamine and fentanyl to customers in the Jacksonville area. Between January and August 2022, Pedro sold approximately 230 grams of methamphetamine and 23 grams of fentanyl to a cooperating defendant.
In a joint operation on September 27, 2022, federal and state law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at the carwash. During the search, authorities seized two firearms and a significant quantity of narcotics, including approximately 325 grams of methamphetamine, 57 grams of fentanyl, 268 grams of alpha-PVP (commonly known as “flakka”), hydrocodone pills, and other illicit drugs.
