PASCO COUNTY, Fla – A 67-year-old woman from Hudson is hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Old Dixie Highway.
The incident occurred around 10:10 pm on Friday south of Hudson Avenue when a vehicle, believed to be a 2010-2011 Mazda, collided with the woman who was using a walker. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.

The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or the vehicle involved to contact the Florida Highway Patrol (*FHP) or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
