VALRICO, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to a multi-unit apartment fire in Valrico late Saturday night.

Multiple 911 calls reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the complex. Fire crews arrived swiftly and immediately began firefighting operations.

Despite the intensity of the fire, firefighters were able to contain the blaze within an hour, preventing further damage to surrounding units and ensuring the safety of residents.

No injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
