HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The public can mark their calendars for a special candidate event the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee will be hosting tomorrow night, Tuesday, July 9. 2024 county-level candidates will gather at the Jimmie B. Keel Library at 6:30 p.m. to field questions from the public about their agendas, if elected.
The library’s location for the event is 2902 West Bearss Avenue in Tampa.
The candidates to attend are running for Hillsborough County School Board Districts 1 and 3, County Commissioner, Clerk of Court, and a state congressional seat.

Light refreshments will be available.
The Hillsborough County Republican Party is also signing up volunteers for a variety of posts, according to Kathy Gallo, chair of the Communications Committee, “We have volunteer jobs including office work, poll watching, and door-to-door canvassing.”
The public can also attend monthly club meetings to enjoy socializing and learning about Republican Party beliefs and legislation. There are 21 clubs around the County with their meeting information found online at www.hillsborough.gop/calendar.
The clubs meet at restaurants or libraries.
