TAMPA- Summer camps will be cancelled in Hillsborough County Park & Recreation due to COVID-19 concerns.

Hillsborough County says that anyone who prepaid for these camps, will be issued a full refund. The Parks & Recreation staff are creating virtual programming to assist in educating children this summer.

The County stated, “The decision was made to protect the safety of children, their families, and Parks & Recreation staff who lead the camps. The closures align with a decision this week by Hillsborough County Public Schools to cancel in-person summer classes.”
