HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla.- Hillsborough County is providing sandbags to residents in preparation for potential heavy rainfall. Three self-serve sandbag locations will be open today from noon to 5 p.m., and again on Monday, October 7th, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.

Locations:

  • E.G. Simmons Conservation Park, 2401 19th Ave. NW, Ruskin (Park closed on Saturday)
  • Ed Radice Sports Complex, 14720 Ed Radice Drive, Tampa (Park remains open)
  • Larry Sanders Sports Complex, 5855 S. 78th St., Tampa

Limit 10 sandbags per vehicle. Residents must show ID (driver’s license or utility bill) to verify they live in Hillsborough County.
