HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) held its annual organizational meeting today, reappointing Commissioner Ken Hagan as chair and selecting Commissioner Christine Miller as vice chair. Commissioner Gwen Myers will serve as the board chaplain.
This marks Hagan’s eighth term as board chair. He has been a commissioner since 2002 and has represented the BOCC on numerous key boards, including Visit Tampa Bay, the Tampa/Hillsborough Expressway Authority, and the Tampa Sports Authority.

The meeting followed an investiture ceremony for returning commissioners Hagan (District 2) and Miller (District 4), and newly elected Commissioner Chris Boles (Countywide District 6).
The BOCC voted to maintain existing commissioner assignments to various boards, committees, and councils. Commissioner Boles will assume the positions previously held by Pat Kemp, who completed the maximum two consecutive terms for Countywide District 6.

- Port Authority: Christine Miller
- Public Safety Coordinating Council: Donna Cameron Cepeda
