GULFPORT, Fla. – On Sunday at 7:32 PM, the Dollar General store, located at 4900 17th Ave S was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk at the cash register and fled on a bike.

Early Monday morning at 4:54 AM, the suspect, Timothy Sullivan, attempted to rob a convenience store in St Petersburg and was arrested. Sullivan was wearing the same clothing as the suspect in the Dollar General store and was in possession of a firearm that matched the description of the firearm used in the Gulfport robbery.

Gulfport Police charged the suspect with armed robbery.
