A Florida woman has been arrested after a traffic stop resulted in stolen lottery tickets and vape pens from her employer, as well as methamphetamine.

According to investigators, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Javonnia Peak and Sgt. Joe Milonas were working enforcement on Interstate 10 around 9:30 this morning when a stop was conducted for a traffic offense involving 47-year-old Carolyn Satterfield of Crestview.

During a consensual search of her vehicle, Sgt Milonas located a “Hide a Can” where methamphetamine, prescription pills, and marijuana were hidden inside.

Deputies say that Satterfield works at the Shell gas station in Freeport.

Satterfield was taken to the Okaloosa County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance (2 counts), possession of marijuana under 20 grams, possession of a new legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an electronic weapon by a convicted felon, and felony violation of probation.
