The left-wing effort to erase women’s sports suffered a setback last week.
The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour, a professional women’s golf tour that qualifies players for entry into LPGA tournaments, banned transgender golfer Hailey Davidson from its events.
As the Tampa Free Press reported in January, Davidson, a biological male who identifies as a woman, was in line to become a literal card-carrying member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association after winning the NXXT Women’s Classic tournament, held at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
That win pushed Davidson, who lives in Kissimmee, to the top of the NXXT tour’s leaderboard.

But according to the New York Post on Friday, the NXXT Tour organizers decreed that its players must be “a biological female at birth.” The move essentially banned Davidson from all future tournaments.
In a statement reported by the Post, NXXT GOLF CEO Stuart McKinnon explained, “As we navigate through the evolving landscape of sports, it is crucial to uphold the competitive integrity that is the cornerstone of women’s sports.”
“Our revised policy is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to celebrating and protecting the achievements and opportunities of female athletes. Protected categories are a fundamental aspect of sports at all levels, and it is essential for our Tour to uphold these categories for biological females, ensuring a level playing field.”

An unhappy Davidson acknowledged the ban in an Instagram post.
“Effective immediately, I have been removed (banned) from the next 3 NXXT tournaments that I already signed up for and been approved to play,” Davidson wrote. “They changed their policy mid season, after me signing up already and being 2nd in Player of the Year race.”
