Florida’s coastal waters remain free of the red tide organism, Karenia brevis, according to the latest statewide sampling.

While satellite imagery is continuously monitored for potential blooms, no fish kills or respiratory irritation linked to red tide have been reported.

Forecasts predict favorable conditions for the upcoming week, with water movement expected to disperse any potential bloom formations further. The next official status report will be released on July 26th.
