A 20-year-old Florida man wanted for robbing a 14-year-old of $3,200 in jewelry in Key Largo was arrested Thursday, according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Shayvon Cortavius Givens, 20, was charged with battery, grand theft, and robbery.

According to deputies, Givens punched the victim in the face multiple times and stole his jewelry during a June 2023 robbery.

A warrant was obtained for Givens’ arrest.

He was booked into Monroe County Jail on Thursday on an $80,000 bond.
