Florida Man Saves His Puppy From The Mouth of an Alligator

The joys of Florida. We have it all down here, beautiful beaches, sunsets, agriculture, and alligators to name a few. One Florida man jumps into a pond to literally pry open the jaws of a small gator that has snatched up his puppy.

Richard Wilbanks told multiple news sources that ‘he followed his instincts’, when he saw his dog, Gunner, in the gator’s jaws. Richard pulls this off without losing his cigar and sustained only minor cuts to his fingers from the gator’s teeth.

The entire incident was caught on camera thanks to a partnership between the Florida Wildlife Federation and the fSTOP Foundation. Richard and his puppy Gunner, are both ok after this incident.
