A sheriff’s office in Florida is bound and determined to clean up their communities, protect the residents and animals locally and get rid of the rats.
Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, along with Code Enforcement, was on the scene of a rat-infested home on Clifford Drive in Beverly Hills, Florida, Tuesday morning.
According to the sheriff, the home had a rat problem so big that the home had to be destroyed.

Deputies say the home was previously tented, and the other animals have safely been removed from the home. The house was in such horrible conditions that it could not be salvaged and had to be demolished.
“Thank you to Jill at Code Enforcement for helping to make this possible and allowing us to move forward in cleaning up our community. And to our Animal Control Officers for working this hazardous case and protecting the animals in our county,” said Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
