Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced Monday the appointment of John Carroll, Kenny Collette, and Stephanie Lewandowski to the Barbers’ Board.

John Carroll
Carroll is a Sergeant for the Florida State Guard. A veteran of the United States Army, he is the Chair of the Hernando County Housing Authority and a member of the Military Police Regimental Association. Carroll earned his bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Saint Leo University.

Kenny Collette
Collette is a Barber and Educator at Burn the Breeze Barber Shop. Previously, he was a Barber and Educator at Chop Barbershop. Collette earned his barber certificate from Lively Technical College.

Stephanie Lewandowski
Lewandowski is an Educator of Barbering and Cosmetology at Cape Coral Technical College. She is the recipient of the 2019 Teacher of the Year Award from the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce. Lewandowski earned her barber certificate from Sunstate Academy.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
