The Republican Party of Florida maintained its voter registration lead in the first two months of 2024, outnumbering Democrats by more than 855,000 voters as of Feb. 29, according to recently posted figures on the state Division of Elections website.
The figures show that 5,215,016 voters were registered as Republicans at the end of February, while 4,359,315 were enrolled as Democrats.
Meanwhile, 3,536,909 were registered without party affiliation, while 333,112 were registered with third parties. The Republican advantage over Democrats was 855,701 votes, compared to 779,701 votes on December 31.

Democrats had previously held the registration lead in the state, but Republicans surpassed them in 2021 and have continuously increased the margin.
Republicans control all statewide positions, the majority of Florida’s congressional delegation, and supermajorities in the Florida House and Senate.
